You’d heard rumors of a detective scouting about, and you think it would be a good idea to let her know that if she’d like to investigate you, she’d better get a different idea. Unfortunately, you haven’t been able to get a good description of her (maybe because you’re just listening in on people’s conversations?) 

You hear she’ll be patrolling near the Medicine Shop in the Downtown Castle area around noon, though, so you think you’ll be able to spot someone looking around like they’re trying to sniff out information. Maybe. Detectives probably look like ordinary people, don’t they? Whatever.

That doesn’t stop you from hanging around. And when you do, you don’t believe what you see.

A woman with a magnifying glass and small pointed horns grins as she walks through the square. It’s been a long time, but you know it’s her. Of course it’s her.

You call out before you can stop yourself. You don’t know what you’ll say to her; she probably doesn’t even want to see you. But her name has already left your lips, and she’s turning to look at you, so you wave wildly back.
