The first layer of my #koifish and their beautiful #scales .The #scalepatterns were picked by my #client and so I ran with #colors I thought would work for the #piece .For the last bit I’ll be adding in the #blackscaling and tightening up my #linework for the #illustratedkoifishes so they contrast the more #realistic #lotusflowers and #lilypads behind them.
