3. An extremely late-night doodle of my killoren spellthief, Scalyan, who I play in the 3.5e campaign I’m a part of at work :D

He’s kinda sylvari-esque in design in that his hair is made of branches and he has green skin “like a young leaf”, if I remember the player handbook description right. I haven’t ever drawn his hair carefully enough for it to matter but I think the texture is something like that of a Monterey cypress.

His design is 1000% self-indulgent - I literally just thought to myself, what are my favorite elements to see in a character? and did that. At some point I’ll finish up some other sketches and post them too

I’ve been having so much fun I’m going to continue daily drawing :D “Daily” being a somewhat flexible term, but I’ve found the way I’ve been using it has been surprisingly motivating, which is a minor miracle considering the severity of my executive dysfunction. I’m genuinely happy with what I’ve done, and can’t wait to do more!

Scal is both very easy and very hard to draw. On the one hand: a bunch of design elements I like. On the other: goddamn branches for hair

6. If you give an onion a baby

The session went good! In a burned out building that had been hit by raiders, Scalyan rolled so well on a search check that he found a baby. None of us wanted it so the rogue handed it off to the first townsperson we met
