character who has to put their trust in the least likely person due to circumstances beyond their control. everyone else around them has betrayed them; no friends, no allies, no rescue. and their only hope is the one person who has, up until this point, been presented as their ontological foil. and they have no choice but to trust them. because the alternative is doom. narrative foils and ideological opposites to lovers. or whatever

I was super into the idea of a VSMP x TMA crossover :D Reasoning for the entity associations under the cut:
Legs - victim of the Slaughter. He was marked forever physically and mentally by his experiences on the battlefield, particularly struggling with PTSD and guilt. He canonically lost his left eye to a bayonet wound.
Avid - victim of the Stranger. Something was not right with his loved one, Elle, when she came home after a hunt. She went feral and attacked him, forcing him to kill her. All he knew is that she had been turned into something unnatural.
Drift - victim turned avatar of the End. The Orchid Killerâs death threat made her abandon everything and flee to Oakhurst. Only upon dying herself, being turned by Scott, was she freed from that fear as she felt empowered by the vampirism.
Iâve been sitting on this like a frog trying to hatch a basilisk from a chicken egg because I have ideas for all 14 VSMP characters, I just need to finish them LOL. So more coming soon hopefully!

Also for the record, horses do count as a "character, vehicle, or structure" for the purposes of Battleship scoring LOL
A while back in discussion with @little-fuzzy-dude, @evig-sang proposed the funniest concept known to fandom, which is that Diluc, former captain of the calvary, has not only never seen a horse but also doesnât actually believe in them. It lead to this and to her hilarious fic Get Off Your High Horse, which you should absolutely read LOL
