Here you go!!!
[Fi. I need to show you something.] Audrey held a yellow paper close to her chest. The edges of it were crumpled from how tightly she gripped it. Audrey shoved it forward after glancing at it one more time, her wrists angled to show the whole thing face up. A poster with her face on it, more depressed than usual. The only difference being that Audrey covered her neck while the photo couldn’t, a metal collar locked around both versions’ necks. Audrey even pulled her cloak off to show the beat up choker and her logo tattoo on the side of her arm. A few seconds uncovered made her feel weaker already.
Wanted alive: Hyperion Property. Reward: $400,000
Her hands were getting shaky while she shrunk in place. She didn’t know what reaction would be the worst. An attempt at turning Audrey in, or just being told to leave. Either way it was terrifying. She wanted to make things okay between them. This was the closest thing to a friendship she’s had in a while. Audrey kept avoiding eye contact while her arms go weaker.
[Please, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I did know you. I didn’t try and then I kept seeing you and by the time I wanted to tell you the truth I thought i̶t̕ w͜o̴uld͏ b͏e too l͜a͢te̴.̕ I thought you wouldn’t tŕ-́u͢s̢ţ ͢m̀e ̨o͏r͝ ́want ̨t́o b͞ȩ ͝a͠round ͠m̀m-̡me, and it wo-o-o-uld be fair since I kept holding up the lie.] As Audrey kept rambling the mechanical voice became more apparent. It was getting more difficult to keep her composure while coming up with why she took so long to fess up. Don’t freak too much. Don’t cry. You need to be tougher than that.
