Mangastream "hiring" anon back :p and lol I was just wondering because I'm impressed with how many people work together to get so many chapters out each week and was just wondering if there's someone that makes sure everything goes smoothly through the whole process :p I've always been attracted to jobs/roles that involved a lot of teamwork so I liked hearing about the behind-the-scenes processes :)
Hehehe it’s usually a bit of a mess. I think though if you wanted me to name someone, look for um .. .”ZERO” in the CP, he kicks my ass and everyone elses’ asses to get things done, and MOE, who does the work and never complains. I think the cleaning king is Prostyle, but ofc everyone else does a lot. I feel like they carry everything. Dzydino and Vox are probably my only 2 senpai in the team right now, they’re both incredibly skilled and very cool people. The newer translators are all great too, we always have each other’s backs and try to help each other out when we have the time. Translators are important but in the end, I guess if we don’t translate a certain series there’ll be another willing translator anywhere else so eh. Cleaning and TS-ing are honestly the silent heroes... I think they are really impressive > < I guess the main thing is everyone takes the work seriously even though it’s just volunteer, and we do our best to be there on time every week when the squad is in. We communicate clearly if we are going to miss a week or two or more, so someone else can cover. 9 times out of 10, someone will put their hand up and offer to cover and do the extra chapters. I think most scan teams work like this? Hope the answer satifies some of your curiosity!
