Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you, too, dear Anon! 🍀🍀🍀 Can I call you Holiday Anon, or Holianon? (I’m terrible with names, I’m so sorry) You are honestly so sweet, and I appreciate every ask you send in to spread some holiday cheer!! :)
I have no faith in this adaptation. Maybe the actors do it right. But I doubt it's gonna work. I don't think there's Ed, they'll probably make Jet or Faye Bebop's Hacker. There will be few chapters (6 I think) and Will be focus on Spike and the Red Dragons. I don't know, I just hope they don't screw up with Faye, she's got the most complex character of all.
Aww, well, while I don’t necessarily agree with having no faith in the live-action, I do whole-heartedly respect your opinion. Your thoughts on Ed’s lack of appearance though is something I haven’t thought about, and is an interesting point. They could very well phase Ed out, but I can’t imagine why since Netflix has a pretty decent record for hiring decent young actors (think Stranger Things).
Also, you bring up a good point about Faye’s character, reminding me about her and the rest of the gang’s character arcs and whether or not their pasts will be brought up in the same manner as the anime or left out/changed all together.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! :)
How do you feel about Spike making an appearance in Super Robot Wars?
I’m going to be honest, I had no idea what Super Robot Wars was prior to researching it so I can respond to this post. For anyone who is like me, Super Robot Wars is a series of “tactical role-playing video games” that feature characters from various anime who fight together and/or against each other with cool robots (if this is a wrong assessment, feel free to correct me!).
In particular, Spike has been confirmed to be making an appearance in Super Robot Wars T, and will have at least a few Bebop related moves. Since I’m not familiar with the video game, I can’t say anything other than I think it’s pretty neat that Cowboy Bebop is continuing to garner the attention and love it deserves!
Thank you for your question! :)
What would happen if Johnny Bravo were to hit on Faye?
Something like this probably...
whoa, mama
I wish they casted someone with crazy hair for spike :[ I really hope Cho doesnt have that hairdo in the show
Honestly, Spike’s hair was somewhat of a defining character trait for him, but I have to agree that Cho with that hair would probably not be preferable. Maybe they’ll go with a more suave Spike? I’m not sure, but definitely excited to see more!
Thank you for sharing your opinion!! :)
What would the crew do for Jet's birthday?
Ooh, for Jet’s birthday I’d imagine it’d probably be a whole thing of Jet thinking that everyone forgot about his birthday (or maybe he’s just really secretive/quiet about it), but the crew actually got a whole birthday surprise for him either at a casino where he can win some money and not have some sort of drama happen, or just on the Bebop where each of the crew gives him a small gift.
Faye would probably give him some sort of nontraditional good luck token, while Spike would be worried/confused on what he should get him and end up giving him something personal that symbolizes their friendship, and Ed and Ein would probably collaboratively make (or, more in Ed’s case, fix/invent) something of Jet’s that they either broke, or that Jet could use to ease the stresses of managing the Bebop on a daily basis.
Thank you for your question! :)
Hey! I checked your tags and couldn’t really find anything so not sure if you’ve answered this (or even want to.) What do you think of the Spike and Fey ship? Do you think they could have worked eventually, assuming Spike lives of course.
I actually did talk about this in a different, longer post, but for summary I personally didn’t see any real possibility of a long lasting, healthy romantic relationship between any of the Bebop members. However, this is based on my own bias in believing that the strength of the relationships the Bebop crew had came from a platonic place.
This belief is mostly due to the fact that everyone had pasts where usually a romantic relationship led them to a dark place. Both Faye and Spike especially were still struggling with their past romances. For most of the show, Faye was trying to believe she could still trust people to not leave her or screw her over and Spike was trying to believe that he could have and deserved happiness even if he was without his romantic interest.
Thank you for your question! :)
