A warm-up sketch before work. Scaphandra from the original (superior) Aeon Flux by Peter Chung
things that i hated about Æon Flux (2005) movie
Making Una Æon's sister, when they're not sisters in the animated series.
creating Trevor's brother solely for the movie, when Trevor doesn't have a brother in the animated series
the most memorable scene in the whole movie was the razor grass which wss never a thing in the animated series.
trying to make Trevor into a misunderstood hero as a reluctant, tragic figure who carries the crushing weight of leadership. His ruthless actions are the only way he can protect the vulnerable remnants of society from external threats.
while Trevor is a literal villain in the animated series who also uses ppl as experiments for his own gain, Trevor rules Bregna with absolute surveillance and force, strictly restricting freedoms because he believes he alone is fit to dictate a "better world".
the movie tries to recreate the episode "A last time for everything" while removing Aeon's clone aspects by replacing it for scaphandra that the movie tried to rename her as "sithandra"
