life lesson via ME : I describe to you what happened to me last night

so I went to see spiderman right, which was SICK, highly recommend it. I came home at like 11:30, 11:45ish and my mom always waits up so I can check in, or I'll just go to her room and tell her. anyway I came upstairs and saw her light was off and the door was closed so I was like whatever I don't want to wake her up, because guys you don't know my mom she would have like jumped up screaming and be like 'OH MY GOD WHAT's WRONG IS EVERYTHING OKAY WHO ARE YOU', I'm not even exaggerating. So I was like whatever I'll see her in the morning. Flash forward a few hours later it's 2:30 am and I still hadn't fallen asleep. I had my headphones in and I was faced away from door and slightly starting to drift off, then all of sudden OUT OF FUCKING NO WHERE, I hear my door slam over and the light shining in through the hallway AND GUYS I'M NOT KIDDING I THOUGHT MY LIFE WAS OVER. NO JOKE MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS LIKE IT'S BEEN A GOOD 17 YEARS I GUESS THIS IS IT. I'm not even kidding I almost cried, so I sat up quickly and looked over behind the door and I hear 'are you in there' in this shaky voice...MY MOM IS STANDING THERE LIKE A PSYCHO WITH THIS FRANTIC LOOK ON HER FACE and was like 'you didn't check in I wanted to make sure you got home safe!!!!!!" mind you at this point I was like WHAT THE HELL MOM I THOUGHT YOU WERE A ROBBER ABOUT TO END MY LIFE. I've never been more scared in my life.

Life lesson: CHECK IN WITH YOUR DAMN PARENTS BEFORE THEY SCARE YOU SHITLESS
