Happy spooky month! I was curious if you had any takes on the ghost engines from some of the original episodes (“Percy’s Ghostly Trick”, “Duncan Gets Spooked,” “Scaredy Engines”, etc)? I wondered if they’re all the same ghost or they’re just different versions the engines have for their stories. Love your work! 💜
Happy spooky season back to you 😂🫶🎃
Duncan Gets Spooked is one of my all time fave episodes and probably my favourite Narrow Gauge gang episode (apart from the Boulder saga ofc)
It used to freak the heck out of me as a kid, and I’m pretty sure it gave my lil bro nightmares lmfao. The whole sequence of the faceless little engine falling into the water still gives me goosebumps it was so well done.
And Scaredy Engines is a Duck episode so goes without saying it’s one of my top picks. I LOVE the dynamic between the three and Thomas getting his comeuppance. Justice for Percy 😂
I’d probably say the ghost on the bridge in Duncan Gets Spooked wasn’t real when Duncan saw it- but I always liked to think the story Rusty tells is true, and there really is the chassis of a poor little engine down there in the muck.
As for Scaredy Engines, it is a smelters. It’s definitely probably full of bloody ghosts. 😂 whether or not they encountered one? Thomas would say yes.
