Lunar Eclipse AU
I made some concept doodles on my first RG AU. Lunar Eclipse is one of those reverse AUs where characters have the opposite personalities. It is called Lunar Eclipse because it's based on the book Ruby Gloom #2 Moon over Gloomsville where some of the main characters went camping at night when there was a moon eclipse. The magic eclipse changed the characters' personalities for one night but I wondered what would the characters look like if they truly had such traits.
Iris: I see her as a little cranky princess. Similar to Scaredy, she hates getting out of her comfort zone, is too afraid of monsters and gets tired quickly. Although, she follows her friends anyway, cos she is very loyal (or is afraid to be alone).
Ruby Glow: Again, her lastname doesn't quite fit her. She is very pessimistic and quickly loses hope. Literally, her cat Hope is often gets lost which makes Ruby worried sick. Ruby is also great at showing empathy to her friends.
SB: He kinda knows what his roots are, he could mention that once or twice. The others know that his family members were great and famous. Though, SB doesn't seem to care following their steps. He is unambitious and languid but he likes to hang out with his friends.
Miracle: I made her a fairy (or vila, if you like) instead of banshee. She is a hopeless simple-minded extrovert. A living sun beam. She is very lucky, nothing bad can ever happen to her. Very gigglish. Yeah, she looks like Rapunzel from Tangled but I couldn't help it. X)
Francis and Leonard: Their friends actually call them Frank and Len and the twins are okay with that, but they prefer to address each other by their full names. Instead of music they love math and inventions. R.I.P. Industries (?) - is just them two but they like introducing their inventions under this label. And yeah, Leonard is taller than his brother.
Bell the Bat: Just like Scaredy Bat, Belly's name is based on idiom - "to bell the cat". Bell is a real dare devil. He likes dangerous adventures and saving his friends. He dreams about defeating a monster and becoming a great hero.
Hope Kitty: I made her fur white so she would remind you of Maneki-neko lucky charm. Although, in some regions white cats are considered bad luck too. Hope is very clumsy and unlucky kitty. Trouble finds her everywhere. Even though she doesn't have a key to her or anyone's problems (only a lock on her collar), it's still nice to see her around.
