you should be able to plug it in with an hdmi cable and your computer will recognize it as another monitor. that's how mine is and i can just move games over if i want
ah, the problem is that my desktop and the TV aren't in the same room and I doubt they make HDMI cables long enough, and even if they do I think it'd be inconvenient, unfortunately
Just going to have to save up for a Steam Machine when they come out

can you do like a greenish-blue? i don’t know how your dye wizardry works
In this case i'm painting thickened dye directly onto the fabric with brushes/sponges/squeeze bottles, so I can make simple patterns, do one color, blob it on in a haphazard fashion, etc. I have like 40-50 different dyes, and if I don't have a color I can try to mix it
scaredystark replied to your post: scaredystark would you like a present?
omg this is amazing i love it! are you serious?
yeah, it's just a bandana! what colors do you want it to be? (the blue stuff is gel school glue that works as a resist, so the words will be white)

oh my god in heven
Yeah. Sorry if that came off as playing the one-up game, but my god I spent a lot of time on my mount and pet collections.
I mean, I led a 10-man raid that was at least half PUG through All You Can Eat so I could get my Bloodbathed Frostbrood Vanquisher. During Wrath. When you still had to do it the hard way, as opposed to just burning Sindy down before anyone's stacks could build too high.
You do not know pain until you are trying to get strangers to coordinate that level of movement, LOS awareness, and debuff awareness. Also, being a tank, I got the fun of calling out movements for everyone else while managing my own cooldowns, debuff stacks, and taunt trading.

i was mount-grinding so much that i got the fishing mount and that’s how i know that i probably need to stay away from wow
Oh my sweet summer child.
I have the fishing mount. I have most of the Argent Tournament mounts. I have all the nether drakes, talbuks, and flying vaginas nether rays. I have both ICC frostwyrms and both Ulduar proto-drakes. I have at least one Sarth+3D drake, maybe both. I have the Violet Proto-Drake from completing every single holiday quest. I have a level 40 Brewfest Ram, which was only available the first year of the event. I have a White Polar Bear and the Cenarion Expedition hippogryph. I have the hawkstrider from MT, the raven from Sethekk, an Amani Battle Bear, and the tiger from original ZG...
And that's just some of the rarer mounts. And just the mounts.
I played... a lot of WoW. Especially during WotLK.

i have to be careful with wow more than any bioware game (except scanning planets in me2, that steals all concept of time) but once i sit down to play da:o i’m fucking lost forever
I am basically making myself never touch WoW again. It stopped being fun for me well before I stopped playing—mainly as a combination of me not having enough time for hardcore raiding anymore and them overhauling the talent trees in ways I really didn't like in relation to my own personal playstyle—but the only reason I canceled my subscription was that I couldn't connect properly.
And yet, I know that if I ever re-upped, it would be straight back to the stupid grinding stuff for even more pets and mounts and achievements. Too much other shit I'd have more fun doing.

oh man we have twin guts! one thing that helps also when it’s bad guts time is really strong rooibos tea. it’s stopped stressguts mid STOP POOPING time even, which was a miracle
Woo for us. :sad single finger circling slowly in the air:
Innnnnnnnnnteresting. I will have to check out both of these. Nothing else has ever really helped at all. Any particular rooibos? I have a peppermint rooibos that I mostly use for iced tea in the summer.
Rooibos rooibos rooibos rooibos rooibos.
