How to: Scarf Braid
Okay, so we did feature another braid tutorial quite recently, but we just can't get enough of braids at the moment, and the scarf braid is a colourful Springtime take on the look.
We're also super inspired by Joel Janse van Vuuren's gorgeous hand-dyed scarves, which have been floating around the office of late. You've still got until tomorrow to win 1 of 100 of these gems! Each one is different from the next and they're the most versatile Spring accessory you could ask for. Do yourself a favour and enter here now!
Follow this step-by-step guide to getting your own scarf braid:
1. Tie a long, thin scarf around your head and under your hair. Knot to one side.
2. Move your hair over your shoulder to the same side as the knot.
3. Divide your hair into three equal parts, including the tails of the scarf in two of the pieces.
4. Plait your hair as normal and secure with an elastic.
5. Wrap one end of the scarf around the elastic and pull through the loop you've created.

What do you guys think of the second scarf braid?
I really want to wear it to school.
Should I?
