In this episode, Jo-Ann Strauss chats to a number of celebrity guests about their views on how South African culture and their upbringing has impacts on beauty.
Jo-Ann reveals the close relationship she has with her mother whom she views as her biggest role model. She also chats to former Ms South Africa, Megan Coleman, as well as Ms Mamelodi Sundowns 2012, Kerusha Govender, about the role that their mothers played in their lives and what their views on African beauty is.
Jo-Ann also chats to celebrity icon Loyiso about what makes South African women distinctly different, and how he feels about our people using humour to deal with important issues. Political commentator, Rokhaya Diallo also makes an appearance on the show chatting about her use of irony as humor to fight racism.
Business woman, Rosie George and actresses Rosie Motene and Zakeeya Patal also discuss their thoughts on African beauty and about how growing up in a divided country impacted their lives. Lastly, Jo-Ann chats to two mothers with adopted children and how they see their kids growing up in the new South Africa.
