WIP Crochet 17 Mar 2019: Campfire Cardigan, free pattern by Make & Do Crew [part 1] [part 2] [part 3] [purchase printable pattern] 

This is kind of an ingenious use of the granny square stitch to make a hyperbolic hexagon.  I love the idea.  And it works up quickly!  

I used Scarfie by Lion Brand in Charcoal/Magenta.  I found that each hexagon took just less than 1 skein.  I bought a third ball for the lengthening.

Turns out I really like cables! In the past 8 days I've knit my two very first cable projects start to finish AND learned magic loop on the second (green) one. It's been a great way to end a really big year knitting year for me
