Since I wasn’t planning on documenting this, I had taken nary a picture up until this point. So what you see here is 1) and 2) the scarf joints have been glued up and somewhat sanded (more sanding to come), 3) the neck slots have been cut in the boxes, and 4) slots have been cut out of the necks. This space on the neck will actually be inside the box and will allow for the box lid to vibrate when the strings are strummed. This increases the sound.
