YGOTOBER Day 3: Scariest Monster
YAY I am ahead!! Now I can focus on my fanfiction today and work on day 4 for this. Enjoy! ^_^
Joey, Tristan, Tea, and Yugi all sat at the kitchen table in Yugi's place. They had just finished a hard study session and Joey wanted to duel Yugi. As usual, "Ah, you win again Yug'." He lost. "I'll never defeat you."
Yugi tilted his head and smiled. "Don't say that, one day you will beat me. Just keep trying your best."
"You're only saying that cause I'm your friend." Joey crossed his arms and pouted.
Tristan picked up the card 'Red Eyes Black Dragon' and studied it for a few moments. "You guys ever wonder what card is the scariest?" He finally asked.
"Give me that!" Joey snatched his card back, giving it a small kiss.
"What do you mean, Tristan?" Yugi asked as he picked up his cards and putting them back in his deck belt.
Tristan took his glare off Joey. "Halloween is around the corner. I been seeing all the commercials for scary movies and thought what Duel Monster card would you not want to see come to life." He shrugged.
Tea shivered. "Ugh I have seen some creepy ones through out the years."
Joey yanked his cellphone out of his jacket pocket. "Oh man, I got the scariest one right here!" He stuttered. He turned his phone around and showed that he had searched for the card 'Illusionist Faceless Mage'.
"How is that scary?" Tristan asked.
"It's got no face!"
Tristan snatched the phone from Joey. "No I will show you scary!" He searched for the card and showed them, revealing 'The Wicked Worm Beast'. "That is scary!"
Tea shuddered. "That's just creepy looking." She stuck her tongue out and pulled her face away from it, but also taking the phone from Tristan. "I think this card is the scariest. Seeing it used on Yugi back in Battle City made me never want to play with dolls again." She turned the screen and showed the boys the card 'Dark Necrofear'.
Yugi sighed as he watched his three friends argue over which monster card was the scariest. He chuckled when he felt the presence of another. "What do you think, Mou Hitori no Boku?"
The Pharaoh looked at Yugi and smiled. "I don't find any of the monsters scary honestly. But do you have one you find scary, Aibou?"
Yugi nodded and reached over the table, snatching the phone from Joey's hand. "I gotta show you guys which card I think is scary. Per say." He winked and showed them the card 'Malice Doll of Demise'. "To me, it's not that it looks scary, but that I feel like if I woke up to this in the middle of the night, it would have me screaming." Yugi looked over his shoulder.
"Yes I can see where you're getting that."
Joey flinched. "Eh, Chucky is scarier than that." He folded his arms but didn't look back at the phone. "I think it's say we all have our taste in horror."
Tristan spoke up. "Yeah and you can't handle any of it."
"Why I outta!" Joey reached for Tristan's collar.
"Put him down." Tea grabbed Joey's ear. "The truth hurts doesn't it?"
Yugi and the Pharaoh both started laughing as their friends once again started arguing. "This is going to be a long night, huh?" He asked his counter part.
"At least it will keep the nightmares away."
