"Agatha, have you seen my twine? I was going to weave something," Billy zipped lightly down the stairs, his boots pressing lightly to each landing as he did. The ghost was oddly quiet, but she never said no to him coming over to "her" place. He was used to it there. The cicadas on the walls were familiar, and the quiet her wards brought him, the quiet in his head, was invaluable.

It wasn't Agatha, however, not in her glamor or her ghostly form. Billy straightened, seeing the woman in front of the barely-repaired sink. "Oh. Uh." He tilted his head, trying to piece something foreign together. "Looks like Agatha isn't actually home, uh, how did you get in here, ma'am?"

Agatha had the feeling that wanda would show up again. It was just a matter of when and where.Despite it being a few years since the two of them had any form of interaction, Agatha had that familiar feeling. The familiar feeling that Wanda had finally made her return. There was also the feeling of her only coming back because she needed something.

"It would have been nice to be notified that you were going to end up on my front door after all these years."

"But what would the all powerful Scarlet Witch possibly want to warrant a visit to my front yard?"

"Do you ever feel like your life is not your own?"

Huh? The voice was soft, quiet. So quiet Doug wasn't completely sure he'd heard it. But when Doug looked over his shoulder, he saw a woman, alone on a park bench. She had murmured the words to herself.

She was in civilian clothes, like Doug, and had obviously been crying. That alone was enough to convince Doug to stop.

"Is everything okay?" Doug didn't realize until he spoke and unconsciously mirrored it and did the same that she had been speaking in Romani. That was unusual in this area. She also looked oddly familiar, but Doug couldn't place her. "Were you talking to me?"

Carefully, cautiously he closed the distance and rested his hands on the back of the park bench. "'Cause I do. Everybody does. I've been there before, believe me."

Doug pointed at empty space on the park bench next to her. "You mind if I sit? You seem like you need somebody to talk to."

I am still not entirely thrilled with that tv show they did for him. While entertaining, there was a lot of... character re-write. And I get that that is a different timeline/iteration but... he is the god of mischief and I do like that he floats between good and bad when it suits him. The show leaned him heavily in the good direction and idk. It had things I liked. It had things I thought were stupid.

But anyway.

Shouldn't he be sleeping?

Nah... In fact, is still early for his standards. He's arrived later than this ( or earlier? ) and, he doesn't seem to put a stop to his clubbing era. Not yet.

Kurt walks into the kitchen, removes his jacket and reaches for the fridge's door. There are many choices to quench his thirst, water, then maybe a soda. Perhaps another beer?

He's still a bit hyped but, he has duties later in the morning tomorrow; three am is a reasonable hour to get a shower, a couple of hours to sleep then to start his incredibly busy day.

After downing the water bottle in two long gulps, he looks over his shoulder for he hears someone entering...

What's the hardest part about writing your muse?

Honestly, keeping her human. There are aliens, inhumans, mutants, superheroes, all of these things going on around her and she is caught up in it but still, at the end of the day, is only human.

I did have an Inhumans verse for her at one point in time to let out some of the difficulty and have something new, and honestly it was a lot of fun, but I've since unpublished the verse page for it and not touched it again. She had a form of very uncontrolled electrokinesis/technokinesis that was slowly developing. Fried her electronics a few times in moments of frustration or anger or sorrow and had no idea how or why that happened.

I think the challenge of her existing in this world and getting pulled into the conflict or being on the side as an 'npc' character would be in the films/movies is also the best part. We don't get to see a lot of that in the context of the MCU. Everything we see is from the same perspective, so I like playing with the other side of that, and getting into the less than ideal situations left by the heroes and big fights and whatever. We never see the aftermath. You know? The normal people that are collateral or just caught in the middle of everything have a story too.

It is a difficult balance to maintain a realistic reaction without her damseling, which is something I get frustrated with. She needs to ask for help, be willing to accept it, but also not be completely useless. She isn't completely useless, but often out of her depth in scenarios she ends up in, and I hope I convey the balance of her having realistic reactions with her taking action as well.
