Being locked up in that damn prison had definitely done a number on him, but knew that his time there hadn’t been nearly as damaging as Wanda’s had been. To say that he was worried was a down right understatement, and he wasn’t entirely sure he could do anything to help her but that wasn’t going to stop him from trying.
They had been staying in Wakanda for a couple weeks now and he had a feeling it wouldn’t be much longer until Steve had them on the move again, not wanting to overstay their welcome. Most of the team was out running some training exercise, one he had decided to take a pass on so he could stay behind with Wanda. He was hoping he could convince her to have a relaxing afternoon with him, nothing complicated or over the top.
Sam went with making them a nice lunch, having thankfully remembered the recipes for a few of her favorites from when they were a the avengers base training. He set up all the food and snacks up on the coffee table, along with a bucket full of ice and drinks next to the table. Once everything was set up he made his way to Wanda’s room leaning in the door way.
“Hey so Cap left me in charge and I’ve decided it’s time for a mandatory movie marathon so come on.” he called with a bit of a smirk on his face.
