His eyes lit up at the blonde, he felt hope build up inside of him, but - at a second glance - he questioned himself. This teen definitely looked like Kurapika, however, the cheerfulness, his overall glow was gone. This man seemed to be a shell of a person, only driven by one soul purpose. No, someone like this couldn’t be his Kurapika. Surely this was just a mere coincidence, just as it been in the past. He was simply mistaking the man for him, that’s all.
Ah, it didn’t hurt any less though. Either way this would be a painful moment. One because he was wrong about this being Kurapika, all of that hope just blew away and two, because if it is Kurapika he was surely a different person.
He let out a rather loud sigh. Instead of questioning the teen, he stayed back behind the cash register; opting to only glance and obverse the teen, as if hoping to see his friends mannerism there.
