19 months update| Scarlett Aurora.

She’s at that phase where she ONLY wants me and me ONLY. Won’t even let daddy near her but she will allow baby sister around me.. She was having severe tantrums but they’ve recently eased up. (As, I asked for advice if anyone remembers).. She’s becoming more and more smart by the minute. I swear, I’m not even being biased, I seriously might have a genius for a child.  Estimated current weight- 30-35 lbs.  Estimated current height- 34-38 inches tall. 

Things she likes/loves: 

Talking.

Spending time with her baby sister. 

The hippy hoppy show. 

Dancing. 

Bath time/Pool. 

Spicy foods. Weird? I know. (She doesn’t eat spicy often though)

Taking pictures of herself, through the ‘Kidsmode’ app on my phone.

Being outside. 

Things she dislikes: 

Bed time/Nap time. 

Being told “No ma’am”. 

Having her hair washed. 

Being put in short ‘Time outs’ for hitting or other various ‘No no’s’.

Someone “Forcing/Making her” give them kisses or hugs. (We simply ask, as always)  

Being covered up with a blanket. 

Things she’s able to do/been doing: 

Talking in semi-full sentences. (But not around strangers) 

Picks up her toys/mess. 

Eats with a fork or spoon without making a mess. (Depending on what I cooked for dinner)

Drinks out of a regular cup without any spills. 

Uses the potty by her self, most of the time. 

Tries to help feed or change baby sissy.

Brushes her hair and teeth by herself. 

Puts her own clothes on. For the most part. 

Knows which shoe goes on which foot, correctly. 

She’s growing right on track- above average according to her pediatrician. (In which, she also believes she’s hit the terrible 2′s already and so it MIGHT not be as bad once she turns 2 but we’ll see. She’s very polite for her age, as well and hardly ever acts out while we’re in public. She understands almost every thing we say or do and the only time she doesn’t is when she’s really upset and that’s normally because she doesn’t talk when she’s upset.. But, we’re getting there. We’re learning together and everyday we teach each other something new. She helps a TON with Lorelei, or at least tries her best to. She’s an amazing big sister and I couldn’t be more blessed of how close their bond already is.

Mommy/Daughter day| Feat. Scarlett.

Scarlett and I had such a great day together for our mommy/daughter date.. It all started off with a healthy breakfast (Scrambled eggs, Bananas, Kiwi, Cutie, and of course some Orange Juice).. She loves her fruit, if that isn't obvious. After that, we both took a shower, got ready while watching the Hippy Hoppy show.. Once I was FINALLY done getting ready, she decided she wanted to play in my makeup, so you can JUST imagine the outcome (haha).. Nonetheless, she talked me into allowing her some lip gloss and I even painted her toes (hot pink with glitter)... So, trying to prepare to get out the door.... As I was gathering things for her diaper bag and filling her sippy with ice water, she cuddled up to her daddy.. We went shopping at a few stores. She got some new sandals, a new outfit, some juice and of course, some more fruit for the road.. We ended up going to see her aunt Ashy and uncle Brandon for a bit and aunt Ashy's baby daddy just couldn't get over how absolutely precious Scarlett looked in her outfit.. Was the cutest thing, haha. Anyways, we went and saw my sister afterwards at her church for revival and Scarlett absolutely had a blast.. She was dancing the entire time they sang songs and just had the ENTIRE church in awe of her... (Proud mommy moment because she did SO well and was extremely polite to every one)... Then once we left there, I took her to Chik-Fil-A and let her play in the play yard after she ate her food and she had a little boy (about her age) come up and kiss her cheek.... (Everyone was in 'Awe' and I'm over here like, "NOPE, no boys girl friend, hahaha").. It was sweet though but Scarlett wasn't having it.. But since she was such a good girl, I surprised her with a fun day at the park and I cannot even begin to explain the excitement on her face.. She loves being outside, so much.. We ran, laughed, went down the slide, pushed her in the swing (the kind that buckles for small children), and even played in the creek a bit because well, why not? Lol.. She loves anything dealing with water. I might've spoiled her a bit but it's okay because she well deserved it. I couldn't be more proud of her and how good she was today.. I'm a blessed mama and I'll be so excited when Lorelei is big enough to have such a mommy/daughter day like this.. (Right now, she just loves to eat, sleep and poop lol).. But she'll be there in no time and then I'll be wishing she was a baby again, like I do with Scarlett (They grow TO QUICKLY).. But at the same time, it warms my heart to watch them grow and learn every single day all while they're teaching me too.. It was indeed a good day- long but good. I apologize if it's jumbled again and not well written, haha. I'm BEYOND sleepy, so goodnight momblrs, ttc-blrs, and everything else in between. (:

November 24th was thanksgiving but it was also my precious Scarlett's first birthday.. can't believe she's already one AND a big sister.. (Outfit and bow made by yours truly, this mamabear). 💜
