A smirk stretched across Santana’s lips as she settled back into her spot on the couch, wriggling into the cushion with an almost childish glee with her arms stretched out to either side to claim as much space as she could. “So? It’s not like you can avoid it forever. Might as well get it over with now”

Santana rolled her eyes –both physically and verbally– as she sat on the back of the couch, folding her arms low on her chest. “Yeah, that be a hella lot more believable if a, I didn’t know you, b, couldn’t list ten times I had to save your ass off the top of my head without breakin’ a sweat and, c, didn’t ahve a track record as long as my arm of telling you ‘i told you so’ when shit goes sideways just likes I told you it would.”

She was –but would never admit– exaggerating slightly. Evie wasn’t as bad as Santana was making her out to be but she wasn’t exactly as able to keep herself out of trouble as Evie was making it out to be either. 

And Santana had a soft spot for the blonde so if a little tough love kept her safe and sound, a little tough love was what Santana would give her.
