I would like to request a KNY Scenario!!! Really hard to choose because i absolutely love a lot of characters in the anime. I would really like to see Kagome just teasing Giyuu. He's such a fun person to tease and I love all the scenes where Shinobu just tease him.
The sound of hot tea being poured into a ceramic tea cup rippled an echo to fill the silence. It was a quiet night. Too quiet for her liking. Blue eyes rose from the poured tea to see the black-haired male sitting on the engawa of her room. His dark sapphire eyes became fixated on the full moon illuminating her garden.
Her lips pursed together as she saw the few blood stains on the back of his two-patterned haori. Putting down the tea kettle on the wooden tray, the priestess carefully grasped both ends of the tray before rising back on her feet. She maneuvered her way to the engawa and came down to her knees.
She set the tray beside him before adjusting her position on the other side. “Are you sure you don’t want to go over to Shinobu-san’s place to get checked?” She asked. Her eyes raked his stoic expression. “You deserve some rest, Giyuu-san; you all just came back from Mount Natagumo.” And from what she had heard, it was not an easy feat. She had overheard both Shinobu and himself brought a couple of rookie corps, but also something about a demon in a box.
“Kagome…”.
Upon hearing her name, her eyes blinked.
Giyuu slowly turned his head to face her. “…is it true no one likes me?”
Her expression went blank. Of all questions or conversation she was ready to have, this was not one of them.
A sweat drop loomed over his head. “Oi…I asked you a question.”
“N-No…I heard it.” She coughed to hold in her giggle. “I was just not expecting…that.” Shaking the shock away, the corner of her lips slowly formed a trembling smile. “W-What brought this on?”
A pout formed over his lips as his head turned back to the moon. “Shinobu said it.”
She blinked again.
And again.
Giyuu immediately snapped his head to the corps’s priestess. “I-Is it true?!” He was not going to believe Shinobu’s words that easily, but if Kagome was not going to deny it then-!
A soft laugh snaked it’s way out of Kagome’s lips, quickly making her place her hand over her lips. “S-Sorry! It’s just…I can’t believe Shinobu-san said something like that to you! I mean, it’s no secret you tend to be a loner-.”
He felt a jab in his chest.
“-and you do stay quiet like almost the whole time when we have meetings-”. One by one, she stared off into the garden as she counted with her fingers.
His chest twisted.
“-and you do tend to not know how to take jokes.”
Kagome turned her head towards him, only to give him a wide eye blink. “G-Giyuu-san?” The corner of her brow snapped slightly as she saw his gloom taking over. Had…she gone too far? “A-Ah! I didn’t mean to put you down!”
Feeling the depression sink into his aura, Kagome’s became dumbfounded, mouth agape.
A long and heavy sigh made Giyuu’s shoulders sink. “Shinobu is tainting you.”
“W-What?! No!” Another laugh was released. Kagome could not believe what she was hearing. She would have never believed the current Water Pillar cared so much what others thought of him! It was ludicrous to even think that. He had always presented himself with confidence that could easily shrug off the bad commentary.
Then again, Shinobu was a different topic.
She knew how to get deep under your skin.
Like really deep.
Scooting closer, Kagome gentle pressed the tip of her finger on Giyuu’s cheek. “You have to learn how to ignore certain comments, Giyuu-san.”
His pout sunk deeper.
“Not everything people say is true, me included. I don’t think you’re hated. I mean,” she inched closer, “what about those siblings you saved? I’m sure they appreciate you - very much.”
Sneaking a glance from the corner of his eye, Giyuu released a held breath.
“I promise you are loved.”
Her warm smile sunk his stomach, making him turn away before the pink on his cheeks was noticed under the moonlight.
“The Pillars...,” she continued, “are a different issue...they have high standards on people.”
Once more, his head hung down in defeat. Of course they did.
