Could you do a scenario for kimetsu no the yaiba where the nine pillars find out about Kagome's miko abilities?
Their stares were beginning to weigh her down, and she was sure earning their trust was not going to be an easy feat. Not like she could blame them. They were the Pillars of the Demon Corps. The ones holding the corporation and their army together for the sake of the innocent people living as prey for Muzan and his evil.
Currently sitting on the gray pebble clearing outside the engawa before her, Kagome’s eyes remained on her lap. She had been brought into the Demon Corps headquarters after their altercation with the spider-demon family. But her ticket to see the leader of the corps was none other than the Insect Pillar - or from what she had heard she was - having witnessed her healing abilities and-
A heavy scoff erupted from the white haired male who held Tanjirou’s wooden box. “The hell are you doing, Shinobu?! Bringing in more vermin who could potentially be an enemy?!”
Shinobu’s lips curved upwards; eyes closed to match her smile. “My, my, we shouldn’t speak of our guest like that, Sanemi-san. I brought her here to see if she could help us.”
A grunt puffed out of Tanjirou’s lungs as he struggled from the Snake Pillar’s hold. “S-She has nothing t-to do with this-argh!”
Kagome’s eyes dilated the moment the Snake Pillar’s elbow dug deeper into Tanjirou’s spine.
“We weren’t talking to you.” He spoke behind his white bandages wrapped around the lower half of his face. “Only speak when spoken to.”
A laugh fished all eyes onto the Fire Pillar who stood proudly with crossed arms. He flashed a smile at the girl who had been nothing but silent while waiting for their leader. “Let’s just all calm down and meet our new friend, yeah? After all, we are all curious about Shinobu-san’s and Tomioka-san’s friends. It takes a lot for them to be bringing in alive witnesses.”
‘Alive…?’ Kagome’s face became perplexed. She stole a look towards the Insect Pillar before going back to Giyuu, the Water Pillar, who stood a few feet away from the group. She could not help but let her brows drop with confusion. ‘Why is he all the way over there…?’
“Don’t mind him!” Shinobu chuckled, hiding her glee behind her sleeve. “He’s always a loner.”
Giyuu’s glare shifted from the corner of his eyes onto them; Kagome’s sweat drop loomed over her forehead. Was she bullying him?
Kagome’s eyes raked up to the tallest of the bunch - the Rock Pillar.
“We know why you brought the boy and the demon inside the box, but why is she here?” Gyomei questioned, keeping his palms pressed in prayer.
Chains rattled, making Kagome’s attention to fixate over to the male with a marking over his left eye and his uniform sleeves cut to his shoulders. “You mentioned she could do something against the demons? We are waiting to hear about this.”
“She purified a demon instantly with her powers.” Shinobu replied. Eyes immediately darted out to the girl who jolted in place. “It took only but an inch of her powers to touch the demon and he immediately burned to a crisp.” Once again, she chuckled at the memory. “A wonderful outcome.”
Kagome’s forehead crinkled as she remembered the accident. She had not meant to purify the demon coming after them in the mountains. The moment he had touched her barrier, his body went hot and white flames blanketed him into nothingness. Demons of this era had no idea what her powers were.
But they were starting to find out there was a bigger threat than the sun.
“Oh~! Your powers were able to do that!” The pink haired female took a step forward before squatting down eye level to the priestess. She clasped her hands into her own. “That’s amazing! How did you do that?! Can you teach us!? Can you show us?! I would love to see-!”
“Tch! Who the fuck cares what she can do! She and this idiot,” Sanemi roughly extended his arm holding the wooden box over Tanjirou’s head, “were working together to protect this demon inside! If she really could do such amazing things, she would have erased this abomination already!”
Kagome’s eyes narrowed dangerously.
“Perhaps, she could show us.”
Attention landed on the shortest of the group - the Mist Pillar.
Muichiro eyes remained stoic on the girl. “There should be no problem there, right? If she really is that strong to go against demons, then she could show us.”
Sanemi’s lips tugged upwards before moving the wooden box in front of him. “We got a perfect test here.”
At that, Kagome’s lips pressed together. Her brows knit together as she heard Tanjirou trying to free himself.
Heavy steps were taken over the rocks as the got closer to the priestess. Sanemi’s eyes narrowed to return the glare before dropping the box in front of her. “Go ahead.”
The corner of Sanemi’s eyes twitched. “Did you say ‘no’?”
Kagome’s glare hardened on his annoyance. Like hell she was going to inflict pain on Nezuko. “You’re gonna have to force me.”
Sanemi’s smirk stretched as he felt his blood beginning to aflame with rage. “With pleasure-!”
All eyes flickered the moment Giyuu appeared in between the priestess and the Wind Pillar. His hand close to the hilt of his sword attached to his hip. Giyuu’s stoic expression had wrinkled into a glare of his own.
“We are here to discuss, not to spill blood on Oyakata-sama’s garden.” Giyuu’s fingers slowly wrapped around the hilt of his sword. “Release the boy.”
Obanai’s heterochromia’s eyes darkened upon hearing Giyuu’s order. “Giyuu, know your place.”
Kagome’s lips parted; her voice knotted in her throat. Slowly getting up from the ground, Kagome felt a strong wave of reiki coming their way. Her eyes slowly glided to the corner to see the shadows of the traditional Japanese room opening it’s shoji screen doors and revealing a man with black-shoulder length hair fairing pale white skin. Kagome’s eyes slowly widened at the reveal of the top half of his face harboring a horrendous scar. His flesh was...rotting. Kagome gulped; her palms began to sweat the moment his white eyes laid on her.
“My, my, we are lively today aren’t we?”
Kagome’s shoulders dropped as his soothing voice blew her into a calm trance. The immediate shuffling of clothes caught her attention. Looking over her shoulder, she was speechless to see all of the Pillars down on one knee and their heads down in a bow.
“Have we given our guest a warm welcome?” He questioned.
“Oyakata-sama,” Shinobu spoke first, “unfortunately, the Pillars are not seeing eye-to-eye.”
Kagome’s focus shifted back to their leader. Oyakata? This was the man in charge of the Demon Corps? She sensed no immense power, but a curse hovered over his soul. A curse clawing him to reach death.
“Hm,” Oyakata’s head tilted down to face the priestess, “tell me, is it true what Shinobu-san told us?”
Kagome pursed her lips together as she tried to calm her shaking heart. “Depends on what she told you...”.
“Oi!” Sanemi shouted. “Talk to Oyakata-sama with respect, you wench-!”
“Everything is alright, Sanemi-san.” Oyakata chuckled softly as he raised his palm to halt him. “But, I do believe if what Shinobu-san said is one hundred percent correct, then...we will have to ask of you to cooperate.”
“With?” She definitely was on the defense. It was not the trust in the corporation. She trusted Tanjirou and the others that much, but to agree to things she was not prepared for was something she needed clarification in. If things were going to end in another Naraku-scenario, then she wanted to know the risks.
Oyakata’s lips curved upwards, “defeating Kibutsuji Muzan.”
