Ruvius thought for a moment before letting out a quiet "oh!"

He smiles. "Yaotl's scent is very predictable. Since he works with fire and metal a good bit, he smells greatly like those two. It's a somewhat comforting scent, I think. When I first met him, he mostly smelled of fire. Then there's another scent that I'm certain is from Vincent."

Ruvius' tail pats on the floor. "Vincent has a variety of scents. From floral to sterile to..ah, cooked food I think? He works with a lot of things when making potions. And Yaotls scent has rubbed off him as well."

He mutters something, "Perhaps I should visit them sometime, I'm certain their children would love to see me again. What should I make them? Cookies? A pie? Hmm, biscuits maybe?"

🌺 for Rose, maybe what the implings think she smells like too? Doubt it'll be different but it'd be cute if Lulu was like "she smells like happiness and Pokemon" or w/e

"Oh, Rose has quite a few scents. Floral would certainly be one of them. Like...a sweet smelling flower. She also tends to smell a bit metallic, I think that's from all of the odd machines she has in her home."

He is referring to the tv, fridge, and other appliances he had interacted with while staying with his dear friend a long time ago.

While he's trying to pinpoint her scent, the little pack of implings are here to add their comments.

"Ro Ro smells like fire, like a fireplace!" Aldric answered.

"And Joy! Lots of joy and- and Pokemon!" Lulu yelled.

Ruvius tilts his head. "What does 'Joy' and 'Pokemon' smell like?"

Lulu stood there, thinking very hard. "Like...dried clothes and...and something!"

"I've yet to meet this kind fella who helped my little Kibun. I had to wash their coat when my little impling returned. It smelled vaguely damp, not a musty scent, but...damp."

he hummed for a bit. "I suppose...they have an earthy scent to them. Like soil and grass?"

"Hmm, I'd say that Tortus has a slightly difficult scent to pin down. Freshly carved wood, paint fumes, cinnamon and...freshly brewed tea."

Ruvius hums for a bit, fist to his chin and thinking hard.

"I suppose if magic had a scent, it would be like...morning dew? I'm unsure. I can tell that there's another scent to him, but I'm not sure of how to describe it? It feels...powerful in a sense, not in smell but...in general?"

So you going to keep updating the Batman fic? I really liked it.

Well I have up to 4 chapters written with chapter 5 half done. If you want to read more, yes I can keep on updating them :)

Okay, there’s another weird one that came completely outta nowhere. 

"Smells like…kinda like light. But a really rough light. One that acts like darkness." Was that even possible? Given the girl’s peculiar appearance, it seemed anything was, but still. 

"…There’s also something else I can smell in there. It’s not sadness, but…" It felt tragic, for lack of a better word. Like there was something in there that, along with all the confusing contradiction and bizarre scents that Riku was getting from her heart. 

…

Also, would you please put out that cigar? The smoke is really making it difficult to breathe/concentrate…

Huh. Though what merely appeared to be a dog with peculiar red markings over her white fur, Riku could smell something far…greater beyond it. Like a light that shone as bright as the sun itself. A light that felt as warm as the sun itself. 

"You’re more than just a dog, aren’t you?" He’d ask, trying to keep himself from scratching her ears. Gotta pay respect to people when you smell something this strong from them…

"What the…?!" Okay, that’s most definitely a runner-up for darkest scent he’s ever come across. The shadows that Riku could smell felt erratic, as though the man were only an inch away from snapping completely and giving in. Though… "That scent…?" …through all the darkness, Riku could smell a faint light. One that seemed to almost be struggling to break free of the darkness. 

What happened to this guy to put his heart in this kinda shape?
