Tried something new last night. I've been working on getting more aware of my dreams, remembering them when I wake up, etc. I've gotten slightly better, but not as much as I'd like. Last night, when I'd forgotten where I'd put my vials of seawater, I decided to try a bit of a gamble. I store my perfumes in a small cedar box, so I decided that if any spirit wanted to talk to me, the perfume would provide them with a link to my dreams. (I was totally not that reasonable right then, but now my brain knows what I was doing) I reached in without looking and ended up pulling one of my all-time favorites. I dabbed a little on my breastbone and forehead and went to sleep with traces of the scent around me. Given that it's a Monday morning and I remember what happened in my dreams, I'd say it worked.
