Batoto commenters are upset that scentless trail is dragging on and im like ??? I think the pacing is fine? Maybe bc im binge reading but i don’t find the whole partner thing a troublesome plot point. It isn’t a simple misunderstanding or communication issue. There’s no reason for the other to know. The info about the partner is tightly sealed within the family so it isn’t crazy that the mc interprets it as the ml moving on ESPECIALLY when ml has memory problems. I really love these points actually bc they’re realistic details. Nothing overdramatic, just small yet significant things. The plot unveils different sides of them while exploring the pain of their separation and all that. Idk i think the commenters are just wrong and i love this manhwa.

I also think they’re awfully ableist for calling the ml dumb. He suffered from extreme mental and emotional trauma. He was made to believe his partner died, having only been a child AFTER he was kidnapped and drugged. Of course he’s messed up in the head. He’s been gaslit and he’s hung on the guilt of wishing he had died and hating himself for being unable to remember his partner.
