had  sofi  expected  anything  close  to  a  true  explanation  of  his  actions?  no.  it  would  have  been  nice  though.  eyes  roll,  head  shook  as  she  bit  out  a  scoff  of  a  laugh.  "  so  what  if  he  does,  what  does  it  matter  to  you?  "  she  questions,  lips  curling  into  a  small  smirk.  "  are  you  jealous?  "  sofi  wasn't  even  sure  she  really  believed  it,  thinking  they  had  some  sort  of  history  that  she  was  completely  unaware  of.  she  said  it  to  annoy  him  more  than  any  belief  that  it  held  some  semblance  of  truth.  "  probably  should  have  thought  of  that  before  before  you  threw  it  into  elliot's  face.  "

she had a good point, guillermo knew, but much like the ever mentioned cat he felt like his curiosity was about to kill him. that of course didn't stop his own fit of giggles from escaping him as the other suggested any possible breaks. "if it's only a few more steps, i think can hold it," he joked as he attempted careening his neck one way or the other to maybe get some kind of a hint. "so long as you're not taking me to meet bigfoot himself or anything, that is."

the classroom was quiet in that soft, golden hour sort of way, with sunlight streaming in through the big windows, casting long shadows across the colorful rugs and tiny chairs. most of the other children had already been picked up, their giggles and goodbye hugs echoing in the air just an hour earlier. but areum stayed seated at the arts and crafts table, her sleeves rolled up and a pair of safety scissors resting beside her elbow. the little boy was never one of her problem children, so when his father had texted to let her know that he was running late she simply figured another arts and crafts time was in order. they had just began gluing deep blue stars on the black construction paper, the little one wanting to go for the look of 'space!' when areum had heard hurried footsteps coming down the hall. "hello!" she greeted the familiar face warmly once he'd crossed into her classroom, "you may have a gift in the making that i'm a little jealous of."
