   He didn’t know what else to offer, but he didn’t want to go home yet. “I’ll buy. Or-- Got any work that needs to be done?” That might be fun, too.

   He had repeatedly tried to tell them he was fine. Like any other night, he was capable of wandering himself back home, or even finding work like this. Apparently not. 

   He’d gotten sick of the coddling, especially because they didn’t seem happy to do it-- So he did the only thing his intoxicated thoughts would let him. Their fingers in his mouth, he proceeded to suck on them softly, before opening his mouth and letting them go.

      “Whatever I wanna.” He answered , swaying gently. “You won’t let me work. M’ working.”

     “Yukimura-san...” It bothered her greatly to know he’s been hiding his sickness- and for so long too. They’re supposed to support each other, that’s what a team does, and she liked to think that notion extended off the playing field as well. “Why? Matsuoka-san should know. He might be able to help you,” she insisted. Hotaru considered herself bad at love and she was hardly knowledgeable about the disease. But Matsuoka seemed to have some experience that could be useful. 

     It could be a touchy subject but she was too curious, “Have you... tried talking to that person yet?”

     While that is a fair response, she’ll admit. She’s also going to give you about 5 seconds to apologize before she decides on whether to break those fingers or not.
