1) Describe your relationship with your bike.
It’s a new relationship so it’s definitely being established in trusting, being able to sit on a bike. I haven't been on a bike in years so it’s a new relationship but I’m liking it so far.
2) Why do you ride your bike? What are your main motivations?
My main motivation is my daughter, she really enjoys biking. I recently broke my arm so that has been motivation for me to feel comfortable on a bike and be able to ride consistently with my daughter.
3) Describe one of your earliest cycling memories- how did you get started?
I would say just being out on the street as a kid, you know, with the neighbors learning how to ride and keep my balance. Even right now since I haven't ridden in a long time it’s almost like starting from scratch.
4) Favorite place you’ve ever biked- a) in the SGV? b) elsewhere?
Schabarum Park, it’s near the Puente Hills Mall- it’s a really big park with a lot of rolling hills.
5) What do you envision biking in the SGV to look like and include in the next 5 years?
I would like to see more bike parking. Even being able to rent more bikes so people can get around in the way they have bike rentals in downtown Los Angeles.
