Should you find yourself in the Berlin area this spring/summer, do check out the Wall Works exhibition at the Hamburger Bahnhof on view until 31 August, including many of Schellmann's innovative, site-specific wall-installation editions from their ongoing publishing project, Wall Works.
Schellmann, known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary fine art publishing for close to 50 years, is perhaps most well-known for this remarkable series, begun in 1992 and continuing today, which explores the unique possibilities of editioned artwork in situ, with each work scaling to its unique architectural environment and utilizing a dizzyingly diverse variety of media.
