Italian born & London raised Schiralli is an edgy female artist, who with one album under her belt and a cool underground following in France is set to release her debut UK single on 29th March. She will be celebrating the launch with a gig at the Islington Assembly Hall. The Clearing is a real and unique song, celebrating the grittier side of pop. Schiralli sees it “symbolizing an end to many things and a new kind of strength as a woman.” There’s a video to accompany the release, which is beautifully shot and in raw rock and roll style will leave you mesmerized. Schiralli's first released album ‘Bang Bang’ was out in France last year but this single will be her first in the UK and paves the way for her forthcoming (yet to be named) debut album. The new release is much more contemporary sounding than her first. Drawing influences from early pink Floyd to more haunting piano sounds, “It is definitely more electric in places and much less acoustic but still has some romantic quiet songs too.” The album is set for release this spring with additional UK gig dates to be announced. http://www.schiralli.net/
