Schistocerca obscura maybeeeeee teehee. found them on my hens coop. it had just rained!

Oh my! What a gorgeous little lady (Im assuming cuz it looks quite big)!

Ive never seen these ones before in my area. I love the vibrant yellow!

I definitely think youre right about it being "The Obscure Bird Grasshopper"! (What an ominous name...)

VERY beautiful outfit on this fellow. Google is not very useful in IDing bugs accurately. This sweet friend is a bird grasshopper in the genus Schistocerca :)
