SHE’S HOLLOW, shattered to pieces. Oh, but they don’t know.
They don’t care. They’ve stolen her smile and locked away her
spirit. Kate Marsh isn’t here, just her body.
She didn’t think Nathan would do something so cruel, she knew
he held a good heart, deep down.
Still, his words stung.
She thought talking to him would HELP her, that maybe he would
COMFORT HER. But, just like everyone in this school, they
abandon her.
She’s not surprised, why do tears fall?
They roll down her cheeks, impure with mascara.
Stupid, stupid tears. She can’t escape them.
Her legs fail her, stumbling backwards. Her lips
quiver, hands rising to stop them.
“IM SORRY,
SO SORRY.”
