You know what's fucked up? German citizens have to pay for removal of WWII bombs off of their properties themselves. Like, legit, if we farm our land or fertilize our lawn and find a British bomb or whatever, and we call city hall, because of course you have to tell the authorities there might be a live bomb on your property, there will be a bill. To be paid by the finder. Obvi if it's on communal land it's paid for by tax money. And it's usually old ladies who find them. So you know, go ahead and, spend your retirement monies on your dad's legacy, Waltraud, surely you have enough generational guilt for that.
Just a quick question, why the FUCK? Sorry peepaw believed in a superiour race and glorified gun fire too much but why i gotta pay for the hardware removal? Like, it's everywhere. There's usually 2 or 3 bomb findings a year, cuz our country was absolutely plastered with bombs .. for reasons you may have heard of. You'd think, the general safety of the community would be at the forefront of thinking here but apparently it's cold, hard cash.
