Framed Moments at the Schlossplatz.

A rainy afternoon in Stuttgart didn't stop me from exploring the heart of the city. I found myself at the historic Musikpavillon (Music Pavilion) on the Schlossplatz. By dropping the camera almost to the floor to utilize the wide perspective of the RF 16mm lens, I captured this beautiful silhouette of a family taking in the view. The intricate arches of the pavilion create a perfect, natural frame around the people and the tall Anniversary Column standing in the distance. Converting this capture to black and white really brought out the rich textures of the floor and emphasized the geometry of the architecture. Shot with the Canon R7 at f/13, 1/250 sec, and ISO 200 to keep the entire frame sharp. 🏛️🖤👨‍👩‍👦

Ich weiß nicht, wer auf die Idee kam, dass zwei Bäume besser sind als einer, und einer der beiden ist dann ein Fake - Baum, ein Drahtgestell mit Strippen, Lämpchen, Kugeln, jedenfalls strahlt der Höchster Schlossplatz am frühen Abend Ruhe aus, eine Art Dezemberruhe, die in der Lage ist, alle dem eigenen Wesen innewohnende Unruhe zu dämpfen.

I don't know who came up with the idea that two trees are better than one, and one of the two is a fake tree, a wire frame with strips, lights, balls, in any case the Höchster Schlossplatz radiates peace in the early evening, a kind of December's calm that is able to dampen all the restlessness inherent in one's being.
