find a wailmer or battle in a t5 raid. problem solved
i have not seen a single wild wailmer in this game ever (and i play it daily), and last time there was enough people for winning a t5 raid was like half year ago.
🔥iida .
stan iida!
okay, jokes aside, i don’t actually have any particularly unpopular opinions regarding him. at least, they aren’t unpopular in the circles of people i talk to, and i am surrounded by iida stans, but…
iida is a character that fuckin’ exists and i’m not asking people to necessarily be a fan of him. i can’t force anyone to be a fan of a character, sometimes some characters straight up don’t appeal to people. i just wish more people would recognize the importance of his bonds with other people?
with izuku, it’s the mutual respect the two of them have for each other, their friendly rivalry, the amount of genuine concern iida holds towards izuku. while i am not as familiar with todoroki due to, well, being really rusty on the events of bnha, i can definitely recognize the amount of interactions todoroki and iida have, the concern iida shows todoroki. then there’s ochako, who i also can’t comment on due to becoming unfamiliar with the events of bnha. i will say though, the season 1 izucrew was not just iida and ochako being friends with izuku, it was the iida and ochako being friends with each other, too.
hell, iida shows a certain sense of concern and respect to all of his classmates. he genuinely wishes for the wellbeing of all of them, even if it means having to be the bad guy. he is the class president for a reason, and he frequently readjusts his ideas of right and wrong and what it means to be a hero (some of the core themes of his character) based on what is best for his friends. he is driven by his friends, and drives his friends. the fact that a character so relationship-oriented gets so brushed over (to the point that some art tagged as “dekusquad” includes all of the izucrew but iida) is sad.
send me a “🔥” for an unpopular opinion!
schmoinkle replied to your post “Japanese is a really hard language to speak but tbh being able to look...”
theres only five vowel sounds though right? it makes learning english seem impossible on the other end
If we’re talking about the phonetic system? Yeah, totally. All logical and organized. Hiragana is a wonderful alphabet and is organized very nicely, A I U E O, Ka Ki Ku Ke Ko, etc. The grammar is consistent, there’s no weird ‘this letter looks like this but says this’, no ‘i before e’, tenses are all simple suffixes, sentence order is subject-object-verb, everything is cool.
However.
Japanese is a language that’s heavily derived from Chinese, and you may notice if you look at Chinese and Japanese text side-by-side, that there’s a lot of characters and words lifted from it. And these characters are Kanji, and that’s where most of the difficulty of Japanese comes in, and why the language is way up there with English in the hardest languages to learn.
Now, the pictographic system tends to be, for those who naturally speak it, pretty useful. instead of spelling out numbers, you can use a symbol to denote it, and get across important information relatively quickly. It works. The problem is, though, in order to survive in Japan you need to know 100 kanji MINIMUM. If you plan on staying there a long time or want to read untranslated Japanese media, you’re going to need to know anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000. And this is NOT the same as just learning words, learning hiragana words is just the same as learning any other Romance language, except with a different alphabet. Kanji is much trickier- they have multiple meanings and pronunciations all within the same symbol, and the only real way to figure out what the word being conveyed IS without any surrounding context is seeing the hiragana version of it, or hearing it verbalized. If you’re coming at Japanese from a non-pictographic language, its REALLY frustrating. English can be just as bad, I’m aware, but the systems of Japanese speaking and writing are so...well, foreign to how Romance languages are structured that it can be near impossible for someone on either end trying to learn the other.
Luckily about the Kanji, though, theres a lot of Japanese print media that tend to write out the hiragana above or beside most kanji. Most of these are aimed at children, yeah, but ive also seen newspapers and a few books and manga do it too, so, yknow. at least there’s a pretty alright degree of accessibility.

“I’ve got bad news for you.”
criticizing the violence perpetuated by law enforcement = terrorism...how?
For starters.
If you don’t think this isn’t calling for violence against police, you might not have two brain cells to rub together.
Literally one of BLM’s leaders, telling other BLM advocates to shoot cops, and run them over with cars.
Baton Rouge. Dallas. Almost every single BLM demonstration evolved, naturally, from simple protest, to breaking public property, looting local businesses, beating white people in the street, supposedly for no other reason than being white?
Boi, at first, I was willing to give BLM the time of day. When they were asking for police to wear bodycams, in order to increase police accountability, and decrease undue use of force? I was RIGHT THERE with ‘em. Because the proclivity for police officers to abuse their power is outrageous, No-one can deny that.
But Not only has every BLM protest turned violent, but BLM are retracting their demand for body cams. Why? Because in many cases, the officer’s body cameras are capturing video evidence of the crimes being committed, venerating the officers instead of the perp.
Plus, we’re talking about a movement that almost universally WORSHIPS the Black Panthers, a group who actively used violence, got in gun fights with the police, harmed civilians, and who’s leaders base their new ideology off of the same principles as the BP.
Textbook terrorists.
uve probably gotten 546731818 asks already - but sb6 officially released on the cn app. it's in good taste to continue tagging spoilers, ofc, but i dont know if youre interested in watching them now or when they air live, and since i cant tell im sending this. sorry if youve already gotten this type of thing again
im not watching the episodes, since even though theyre official im still treating them as leaks. and you all know i hate leaks. im really not in a good mood about this right now because i keep seeing spoilers for the bomb episodes due 2 careless posting and/or youtube reccomended being extremely cruel
