What Your Favorite Yu-Gi-Oh GX Girl Says About You
[Main Girls Only] [DM]
(This is gonna have some deep cuts.)
Asuka Tenjoin/Alexis Rhodes: You probably had some kind of crush on her growing up, and today you claim she deserved better. Like her, you are sick of the bullshit of certain dudes. You have a begrudging soft spot for any character described as “tsundere.” You get really mad when newcomers get suggestions to skip the first two seasons. You were very disappointed at ARC-V, though you got a lot of enjoyment and schadenfreude out of her Deck being meta in Duel Links.
Rei Saotome/Blair Flannigan: You have a lot of headcanons about her gender and sexuality. No one was more ecstatic than you when she came back in the third season, and you’re still bitter they didn’t do more with her. You want to see any of her cards get printed. Mostly, you just really enjoy tomboy/half-pint characters. Despite how much of her character is dedicated to shiptease and crushing, you’re not that interested in her canon ships.
Camula: She was your first experience with hot monstrous evil women you want to step on you, and that proved formative. You find the origins of her name really funny, and have spent a lot of time thinking about the possibilities. You are incredibly baffled at the fact that the existence of vampires in Yu-Gi-Oh is revealed in a minor character’s backstory.
Tania/Tanya: She was your first experience with hot muscular tough women you want to step on you, and that proved formative. You’re not a furry, but you’re not not a furry; all you’re saying is, you see what Misawa saw. You find the words “dueled all night” immensely funny. You are still wondering what the deal is with her tiger form.
Fonda Fontaine/Emi Ayukawa: She was your first experience with hot caring intelligent women you want to hug you, and that proved formative. You want her status as the head of the Blue Girls Dorm to come up more often. Though you wish she had gotten a Duel while not being a zombie, you’re aware the alternative was her not getting one at all.
Junko and Momoe/Jasmine and Mindy: You know that they’re non-characters, but you also know they’re definitely not straight. This largely defines your interactions with them. You have constructed very elaborate personalities for them in your head because you desperately need more female characters for your stories.
Mizuchi Saiou/Sarina: You’re really interested in her brother’s whole deal, and wish you knew more about it so she’d be more prominent in it. You like shrine maiden motifs, or just older female characters. You have a favorite pairing for her, and it makes absolutely no sense to anyone else.
Echo: You like Edo, and you like butch-looking ladies in cool-looking uniforms. Every day you wake up, think about the way she died, and get the urge to punch a certain glasses-wearing Cloudian-playing billionaire in his stupid fucking face.
Alice: You really like Rozen Maiden and/or the works of American McGee. You are stunned at the fact that a sapient doll in a goth-lolita outfit qualifies as a one-off character in this series.
Reggie MacKenzie: Your biggest complaint about the GX anime was that it didn’t have enough cool evil girls in it. You like her whole deal with Asuka, and you think it should have gotten more focus. You have variable feelings on David Rabb, but you definitely know which one is the character you’d rather be reading about.
Midori Hibiki: You keep telling people to read the manga because it’s way better than the anime, and they never listen. You love yourself a good badass lady and wish she’d been in the anime. You know that she was robbed by Reggie. You were surprised when Darklords became an actual deck, but you were not complaining.
Seika Kohinata: You needed more female Duel Academy students and she made a great candidate. You have a great fondness for snakes. You were very disappointed that she didn’t have leggings in her second appearance.
Any Tag Force girl: You got the chance to bond with any female character from two different series, and you latched onto characters that most fans don’t even know exist. When you tell people about this, they ask if you’re shitposting. You’re not. You knew Tag Force was a dating sim; you were going to go on some dates.
just let him have a nap for god’s sake
So, it is our second 6th April, as 1917 day, and on this ocassion I prepared a little something in form of another bunch of Schos figure photos. Not much, but it’s honest work. ;)
