These little Chanukah books are part of a remarkable series by Jewish writers & publishers in Berlin between 1933-1938. They began publishing 6 months after the Nazi book burnings, and continued until Kristallnacht. Schocken Verlag published 83 titles, 30 of which comprised the Jüdische Lesehefte series.
