Dom Mino specializes in soft, glitch infused electronica of the kind you might have heard The Remote Viewer or Four Tet touch on in previous releases. Enhanced by the participation of Akira Kosemura as producer, 'Unknown Coordinates' takes the blueprint of electronica and runs with it, incorporating Akira Kosemura's piano work with chicago jazz drums, brass, oboe, vibraphone, glockenspiel amongst a plethora of other instruments. 'Cartaforbicesasso' is an awesome example of live instrumentation and electronics working in perfect harmony and 'Goodbye, summer rain - U.C edit' is a reworking of a Akira Kosemura's tune (of the same name), edited and rejiged into a cozy little synth lead instrumental dance number that shimmers in a subtle yet excitable way. The 'Unknown Coordinates' is blissful listening, both light and breezy.

この曲が収録されているアルバム「COMPANION」の1曲目「Variations」のミュージックビデオを作りました。

この曲を聞くためだけにこのアルバムを買ったとしても良いと思える様な、そんな１曲。作るからには何百回と聞いている事になると思うけど、新しい発見と言うか、幾度となく「良くできてるなぁ」と驚いたり感動したりしたので、ぜひCDも買いつつ（アートワークも担当しております）ハイレゾで聞いて貰えたら最高な作品です。

前作も最高だったけど今回も最高にツボです。初めてアルバム１周聞いた時のインパクトで評価するなら最後の曲が、個人的にツボすぎて鼻血出そうでした。聞いただけでイメージとか色が湧き出てくる様な、想像力の乏しい自分にとっては本当に珍しい感覚を味わう事のできた、数少ない楽曲。
