VL HAS FAILED US BIG TIME WITH THIS *flailing all over the place* *spilling guts* *cries into the next century*

I've just caught up (through an intensive YT marathon over the weekend) after staying away from Verbotene Liebe for a couple of(or more) years. I was finally in the mood to catch up with the end of Chrolli and the rest of Olli's storyline. While the divorce makes me sad, there was no other option, with Thore leaving. However, I also think it should have happened earlier, instead of dragging it for so long, and that it was a crappy (off screen) sendoff for Christian as a character, and I would have liked to have him on screen one more time for his final goodbye to Olli. With hindsight, they should have broken them up when Thore came back for a few episodes in 2013. Also, I've fallen quick and hard for Olli/Sascha, I'm obsessed in a way I never was with Chrolli...and heartbroken that there will never be anything more than there was (which, rationally, I get. Olli doesn't need to go through all that with another straight guy...). Still, I ship them so hard. Finally, I was very saddened to find out that VL was cancelled, and that most probably Jo/Olli won't be in the weekly version of the soap. This sucks, but I wish Jo all the best in his future endeavours.

All that I understand is that Olli's stuck on his divorce and Sascha is trying to get him out of this "liebeskummer" (or however the hell that is spelled), love sickness.
