#Awkward principal moment

I was volunteering to be the "secretary" for my school's principal for an event with a crowd of students.. I had to type in what the students said, on a PC connected to a projector for everyone to see.

I typed the sentences during a second-two seconds and my principal turned to the projector "screen" and was so amazed.

"Are you done writing already?"

"uhm..yes."

*lots of compliments about me typing faster than she turned around*=*me awkwardly sitting a bit away from the other students, incl. my friends and I didn't know what to do*

after the event~

I was talking to my friends and she came up to me and continued the wave of amusement over the fact that I can type pretty fast..and that I helped with the event..

Am I the only one who finds it extremely weird, uncomfortable and annoying when some random student at your school that you don't usually talk to, suddenly sits down beside you and starts talking to you? Sometimes they don't even say "hey" or "can I join you?", they just sit down and start talking to you about stuff. 

Awkward.
