Another thing I really love about Twelve Forever are the background characters in the human world.
They don’t have a specific trope that most of tv-shows follow. Many cartoons for a weird reason loved to put cliques, like the sporty jocks, the geeks, the popular girls, the ones who try to form a band etc. Yes they try to make the background livlier with this, but it often fails for one and another reason as these characters fall flat when they are moved to the foreground.
So I find it fun, how they presented the back ground characters, even if they won’t be used very often. It is a similar case with Hilda as well, another series I adore.
And this is another point I like about Twelve. I also wanted to like Craig of the Creek but they bring in random background characters so often that I think, yeah but more episodes about Craig and his close friends would be nice.
