Rush to Relax are a Slovenia based band who must have taken their name from the Eddy Current Suppression Ring LP from 2009. I say that mostly because Mikey Young masters their new LP, "Misli", due out at the end of August 2022.

Truly, this band sounds like it has weened itself on Flying Nun (listen to some of that Chills guitar chime) and Australian bands like Boomgates, School Damage or Chook Race - just listen to the vocal melodies.

As is so often the case these day, this appears to be a multi-label release: Hidden Bay Records (France), Pop Depression (Serbia), and Look Back and Laugh (Slovenia).

Scump Damage 1, is taken from School Damage's brand new 7" EP titled, Sings.. Four Songs About One Cat, which is released through Upset The Rhythm on 25th May 2018.

Melbourne/Geelong. Australia quartet School Damage began as a bedroom recording project for Carolyn Hawkins (Chook Race, Parsnip) and Jake Robertson (Ausmuteants, Frowning Clouds etc). They released a cassette for Moontown Records in 2013, then were joined by Jeff Raty on drums and Dani 'Damage' Hakim on bass.
