But WHY ?

Like I’ve just seen the “school” version for Les Mis loses the counterpart during the Confrontation. Like WHY ????? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT THAT’S WHAT MAKES THE SONG SO EPIC THE ESSENCE OF THE SONG ITSELF !!!!!! And here I was thinking “yay when I’ll be a teacher I’ll try my best to create a musical club and I’ll make studenplay Les Mis !” And I’m like “why if you cut the counterpart of The Confrontation and verses in ALL Javert’s songs T-T !
