School Bus Safety tips!
So now that the unofficial end to summer is here, school has started! Yes it is sad to see summer go but the joy of children going back to school makes everything just a little bit better.
Now that school is in session here are some tips/facts to keep both you and the children safe.
* School buses use yellow flashing lights to alert motorists that they will be stopping.
* It is illegal in all 50 states to pass a school bus that is stopped to unload or load children.
* The surrounding ten feet of a school bus is where children are in the most danger to get hit.
* Children are the most unpredictable pedestrians and the hardest to see.
These are just a few tips to keep you and your children safe this year.
