so on the upside, I am doing WAY more coding at this school, and a lot of it is review, but there are also certain development tools that the CS courses here use by default that I haven’t touched (like Git) that I think have honestly improved my coding process and my ability to work on shared coding
but also the downside is that now I’m even more sensitive in spotting the results of bad code structure/design, so half the time I go on the internet I end up fighting the urge to fling unsolicited notes about code optimization to a hundred goddamn strangers
