With Spring Break being extended for all schools due to the Coronavirus, parents and guardians have been provided with Learn at Home websites for educational enrichment until the schools reopen. Since I'm going to school to become a teacher, it's safe to say that I am getting my practice in. GET YOUR FLU SHOT!!! The Student Health Center is offering to pay YOU $5 for getting your flu shot. You can choose to keep the money or donate it to a local charity.

But WHY should I get one? 

-It’s flu season!

-Influenza is a respiratory illness contracted through viruses that are spread when people cough, sneeze or talk (USA Today College)

-Symptoms of the flu can last up to a week and include fever, sore throat, headaches, cough, aches, congestion and fatigue (AKA you will miss class and get super duper behind and stressed)

-The flu shot is the most effective method to protect against this virus and its related complications.

-Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others.
