3D printed Prosthetic Hand
This is the 3D printed Prosthetic Hand that we printed and built at the School of Machines this summer. The 3D model is the Raptor Reloaded by e-NABLE that we found in Thingiverse. and we 3D printed with a Makerbot 2X from the Fab-Lab BERLIN The process took us around a week, because we had to make a bunch of tests with the 3D printer before we got the desired results. Also we customized a bit the strap hand sewing one with fabric. I think it looks better and also feels more comfortable than using only velcro instead. This process could be faster in the future using a sewing machine, but this time we did it by hand because it is a prototype.
