I really might do that if there's ever a next time. I wanted to rent one, but they didn't seem to think it was necessary. I think, for me, for another kind of joint surgery maybe not, but spinal surgery feels like something it's reallyyyy necessary for.

RIGHT. I guess just because they don't consider my surgery a super minor one because ACDF is definitely a big surgery, but my neurosurgeon that dominates that ward does a lot bigger ones, so I think they partially just aren't so worried about me as a high priority patient. '

I've got a few, but bleh. My friend who had spinal surgery last summer is coming to bring me a chair (i think?) that helped her, so hopefully that'll help during the day at least!

thank you very much :)

YESS, mine's swelling when i'm flat, but at the same time i get so stiff in one position i have to keep switching from various ways of flat, gah.

thank youu <3 I hope you feel better soon if you aren't already! that sounds awful :( :(
@blaurascon said: Do you have pillows or blankets or anything you can use to prop yourself up while you sleep? Might help a little. Hope you feel better soon!
I do, they're helping a little but not too much. because i keep getting stiff when i can't totally control the angle. i managed to sleep without too much ice or heat last night though, so thats good.
